Finishes and Fixtures Schedule Project Reveal! The coastal charmed laundry design is now complete! A stunning timeless style laundry in a soft coastal palette with modern features. Every element, from the brushed brass hardware to the soft tile textures, was selected to create flow, cohesion, and a sense of ease in this hardworking space.


This recently completed laundry renovation in Tootgarook, on the Mornington Peninsula, showcases how a designer's finishes and fixtures schedule can transform everyday spaces. The brief was to create a serene, coastal-inspired laundry that blends a modern elements and a sense of ease.


Through curated materials and a timeless palette, this laundry now feels light, ordered, and deeply connected to its coastal surroundings. From folding towels to sorting laundry, every moment now feels more at ease, organized and refined.


Design Details That Elevate Everyday Moments

Each element was intentionally chosen to bring balance and cohesion to the space:

  • Brushed brass fixtures and custom cabinetry handles that introduce warmth and visual interest

  • Stone-look benchtop with soft golden veining to echo natural coastal textures

  • Matte black sink with coordinating brass waste for contrast and depth

  • Soft blue subway tiles that bring a fresh, ocean-inspired backdrop

  • Curved brass tapware to add height, softness, and a sculptural detail
