Concept Phase Fee Guide

The following pricing serves as a general guide for commonly requested services. As every project is unique, your concept phase will be quoted based on the specific requirements outlined in your project brief.

Interior Design Consultation

Price $320

This on-site service offers immediate, tailored advice for your space—ideal for smaller projects or when quick guidance is needed. It’s a great option if you're feeling stuck, want to explore layout ideas, or need help making confident decisions.

Whether you're looking for fresh inspiration, input on floor plans, or a second opinion before locking in design selections or purchases, this consultation provides focused, professional support right when you need it.

Phase 1 – Concept Phase

Fixed Fee: $1,250

This stage involves developing a concept that reflects your lifestyle, space, and aesthetic preferences.

Floor plan with suggested furniture layout
Visual presentation
Colour and textures scheme

Curated selection of:

This phase is focused on concept development only. Sourcing, ordering, and installation take place in Phase 2.

This phase brings the concept to life. Once selections are approved, time is dedicated to sourcing items, coordinating deliveries, and styling the space to reflect the design vision. It’s about transforming a plan into a fully realized living area- curated, cohesive, and ready to enjoy.

Whether it’s arranging furniture, placing artwork, or layering in the final decorative touches, this stage ensures your living room feels intentional, inviting, and complete.

Dining Area Styling

A beautifully styled dining area brings people together with comfort, ease, and understated elegance. This service focuses on selecting and arranging key furniture and styling elements that create a welcoming and cohesive space - tailored to both the room’s proportions and your lifestyle by blending materials, textures, and lighting, every detail works together to create a space that feels intentional and complete.

Phase 1 – Concept Phase

The Concept Phase is where the creative direction is established. A layout plan, curated selections, and visual styling scheme are developed based on the room’s architecture, your preferences, and any existing elements you wish to retain.

Suggested furniture layout for optimal flow and proportion
Colour and finishes scheme
Selection of:
• Dining table
• Dining chairs
• Buffet or console
• Rug
• Artwork or mirror
• Decorative accents and plants
• Lighting concept (style + placement suggestions)

This phase provides a clear visual and directional plan. Sourcing, purchasing, and installation are completed in Phase 2.

As deliveries arrive, it’s time to arrange the floor plan and bring the dining area to life - styling it in a way that reflects the original design vision. Furniture is positioned with intention, and finishing touches like artwork, lighting, and décor are layered in to create a balanced and welcoming space.

Phase 2 – Final Styling & Setup

Hourly Rate: $90/hour (incl. GST)

This may include:

Coordinating with trades (e.g., for lighting installation)
Onsite placement of furniture, décor, and final styling touches
Styling surfaces (buffet, console, table) with accessories and plants.

Transparent time tracking is provided.

Bedroom Styling

Styling a bedroom is about creating a sense of calm, comfort, and personal retreat. It’s a space where textures, tones, and thoughtful details come together to support rest and recharge. I especially love styling bedrooms - it’s where I feel most in flow.

Concept Phase

This phase develops the creative direction and layout for the room, tailored to your space, preferences, and any pieces you may already own.

What’s included:

Furniture and layout plan for optimal flow and balance
Colour and finishes scheme
Selection of:
• Bedhead or bed frame
• Bedside tables
• Bedside lamps
• Rug
• Artwork or mirror
• Cushions and soft furnishings
• Décor and plants
Visual mood board or presentation
One round of design refinements

This stage builds the vision. Sourcing, delivery, and installation support are completed in Phase 2.

Once selections are approved and deliveries begin, the bedroom is styled and arranged in line with the design vision.

Phase 2 – Set Up & Style

Hourly Rate: $90/hour

This phase brings everything together—adding softness, flow, and the finishing touches that make the space feel calm, inviting, and complete.

This may include:

Sourcing and ordering selected items
Managing deliveries and timelines
Coordinating trades (if lighting or hanging is involved)
Onsite setup: arranging furniture, placing décor, making the bed, styling bedside tables, rugs, and artwork

Initail Consultation

Initial onsite consultation is an opportunity to meet in person, view the space, and discuss your goals, preferences, and any practical considerations. After this meeting, you'll receive a detailed proposal outlining the recommended design and styling services, along with a tailored quote for the Concept Phase to review and approve.

Conceptual Bar Design

This service is ideal for clients seeking a distinctive, custom-designed bar space that balances function with a refined aesthetic. The Concept Phase focuses on developing a tailored layout, carefully considered finishes, and unique design details that make the bar feel like a natural extension of your home.

This tailored service focuses on creating a layout that integrates seamlessly into your home, offering purpose-built shelving, thoughtful cabinetry, and curated lighting to enhance both form and function.

This service focuses on creating a bathroom that is both beautiful and functional. A carefully considered layout is paired with a cohesive colour and finishes scheme, carried through every element - from the vanity and shower to the bath area and tile selection.

Attention is given not only to the materials chosen, but also to how they are applied - ensuring the space feels unified and thoughtfully resolved. The result is a design that balances style, comfort, and practicality.

This service includes a detailed Bathroom Finishes and Fixtures Schedule, making it easy for trades to quote and install with accuracy and confidence.

Laundry Design

This service focuses on creating a functional and visually cohesive laundry space through thoughtful planning and considered design. A well-designed laundry supports everyday routines with ease while incorporating finishes that feel elevated and aligned with the rest of the home.

The design includes a functional floor and cabinetry layout, tailored to your space, as well as a curated selection of tiles and finishes that bring clarity and style to the space. A detailed Laundry Finishes & Fixtures Schedule is also provided.

Phase 1 – Concept Phase

Bathroom Design

This service is ideal for those who already have a bathroom layout in place but need support selecting the right colours, finishes, and fixtures. It focuses solely on the material and product selections that shape the look and feel of your bathroom.

Concept Phase

Fixed price $850

This includes all the groundwork involved in sourcing, comparing, and refining finishes—with samples brought to site to see how materials respond to the room’s natural and artificial lighting.

Once selections are finalised, you’ll receive a detailed Fixtures & Finishes Schedule, ready to hand over to your builder or trades for quoting and installation.

Selections may include:

Colour palette
Vanity benchtop
Sink and tapware
Bath and tapware
Shower fixtures and finishes
Wall and floor tiles
Lighting (style and placement)
Mirror
Towel rail, robe hooks, and accessories

Once your fixtures and finishes have been selected and scheduled, Phase 2 offers flexible support to ensure everything is implemented smoothly and with attention to detail.

Laundry Finishes & Fixtures

This service is ideal for clients who already have a layout in place and simply need guidance in selecting the right colours, surface finishes, and fixtures for their laundry.

Concept Phase

This covers all the groundwork involved in sourcing and refining the finishes listed below. Samples are brought to site (where possible) to see how each element interacts with the room’s natural and artificial lighting. Once selections are finalised, you’ll receive a clear, easy-to-follow schedule to pass on to your builder or trades.

Curated sample boards are created to present the proposed materials, colours, textures, and finishes -setting the foundation for a cohesive and considered design direction.

Fees for this stage are confirmed after the initial consultation and are based on the scope of work outlined in your design brief. This phase is quoted as a fixed fee, tailored specifically to your project, providing clarity and confidence from the outset.
