3 great projects have been in the works for the month of April brining projects to life. We commenced the concept phase of the Frankston Interior Design and Styling Project that is set to transform and reflect the unique requirements of its occupants. Meanwhile the Rosebud Living Room Interior Styling Project promises to create a loveable living area, blending comfort with style seamlessly. As for the Mornington Residential Finishes, Fixtures and Colour Scheme Project, meticulous attention to detail has been dedicated to selecting the final perfect finishes and fixtures to create a harmonious and visually striking living environment.
Frankston Interior Design and Styling Residential Project
The concept phase has commenced for a new residential project, focusing on styling two bedrooms, a home office, and a cozy reading nook. The design includes designing wardrobes for both bedrooms, a desk, and a bookcase. In this early stage, research involves studying precedents, assessing the client's current furniture, examining the house's interior elements, and considering the client's needs. Ideas are being sketched out for the upcoming meeting with the client and the cabinet maker. Proposed designs include a custom made day bed for the reading nook, an upholstered bed frame, and a bench for the main room. Therefor I have been exploring various fabrics from my fabric library and ordering new samples to create a tailored range of colours and textures for custom pieces. Additionally, I’ve been experimenting with different wardrobe designs to align with the client's preferences and space requirements is in progress.
Rosebud Living Room Interior Styling Project
This project was quite intriguing. The challenge involved styling a very long living room with a wall that required styling, along with incorporating a new fireplace into the adjacent wall while aligning it with the existing furniture layout. I had to brainstorm to devise suitable solutions to propose to the clients. I presented a couple of options for their fireplace location so it will be interesting to find out which direction they went with. For the long wall that need to be style, I proposed hanging 3 oversize framed photographs. To prevent the photos from appearing too large or life-sized, I recommended using a white mount board around each picture. This approach will result in a refined, timeless look that won't overshadow the room, allowing the sunset views and fireplace to remain the main focus. The proposal has been discussed and I’m looking forward to seeing the outcome soon.
Mornington Residential Finishes, Fixtures and Colour Scheme Project
This project started at the beginning of the year and is now coming to an end. It’s an exciting time to see the concept plans come to life as all the trades come and go installing. So there’s been a few things to finalise this month.
As the final touches are being put in place, the vision that was once just an idea on paper is now coming to life in vibrant hues and textures. The meticulous selection of paint colors for the exterior and interior has transformed blank walls into captivating canvases that tell a story of style and sophistication. The careful consideration of floor colors and finishes has created a seamless flow throughout the space, tying together each room with grace and elegance.
The process of choosing bathroom and kitchen fixtures and finishes has added a touch of luxury and functionality to every corner of the project. From sleek faucets to sparkling countertops, every detail has been carefully curated to enhance both the aesthetic appeal and practicality of the space.
As the project nears completion, the sense of accomplishment is palpable in the air. The dedication and creativity that went into every decision and every detail have culminated in a masterpiece that will be enjoyed for years to come. It's a testament to the power of design and the joy of seeing a vision come to life.
